Strata’s vision is to fill a niche position within the South African mining industry by working closely with industry OEMs and specialist companies to provide a single supplier focal point. One of Strata’s greatest successes in fostering unity lies within our continuous drive towards Visible Felt Leadership (VFL). Every two weeks, members of management make themselves available to interact with ground staff and operational teams.
VFL facilitates open communication and creates synergy between the departments, ensuring that the values which we embody as a company are reinforced through a ‘felt’ presence on site. This practice also allows the leadership team to lead by example and to establish authentic relationships with staff.
Not only does this interaction positively affect our internal practices, but it also translates into healthy customer relations. By cultivating a culture of accountability, we ensure that deadlines are respected and expectations are exceeded. We place a great emphasis on delivering an excellent service offering to make sure that customers are well-satisfied.
